Autumn Term 2026 

This autumn term, we have an exciting range of learning opportunities planned for the children in Hepworth Class. In English, we will be developing storytelling skills and focusing on sentence construction to help children become confident writers. In Maths, our learning will centre on place value, building a strong foundation in number understanding. Our Science topic is Animals, Including Humans, where we will explore the characteristics and needs of living things. In History, we will learn about kings and queens, as well as war and remembrance. In Art and Design & Technology, children will create sculptures and develop food preparation skills. Music lessons will explore musical moods and include preparations for our Christmas show. In PE, we will be developing ball skills and learning different dance techniques. Computing will focus on technology all around us and digital photography. In PSHE, we will be learning about relationships, health, and wellbeing. We look forward to a busy and enjoyable term of learning together.
