At some time in their school career a child may need extra support. This may only be needed for a short time. The Special Needs Coordinator (SENCo) is responsible for overseeing the work of supporting children with additional needs. This support is planned using the SEND Code of Practice. Parents/Carers and children are involved from the beginning of the process and are encouraged to work in partnership with the school
At Priory Primary School we welcome all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We aim to be fully inclusive. Children with SEND are admitted to the school under the same arrangements as all other children in accordance with our Admissions Policy.
Our Schools SENCo is Mrs E Wilson and can be contacted via the school office.
